Yesterday I've found a great XML/HTML DSL implemented in just a few lines of Ruby.

That's where I just think simplicity is the real Ruby power thanks to its magical method_missing.

I just pushed a new Prism version on Github; not many changes but a new CSS grammar file and a little change in the way callbacks are working.

Also, I updated the Prism Pastebin according to these changes.

This post serves as a remainder for me as I'm still learning Ruby.

Today, I've read an article comparing different syntax highighting engines implemented in Ruby (Coderay and Ultraviolet) or Python(Pygments).

You can now get an idea of how Prism renders your snippets.

Thanks to the great Heroku, I just created a new app for testing it on live : Prism Pastebin

I have just updated Prism to a new version. There's still no new grammar file (apart from erb one), but there was a big change in existing grammar files.

Also, the file test1.rb was rewritten to manage all the input test files.

Because the only one I have on Ruby is Design Patterns in Ruby, I just bought the Well Grounded Rubyist because it covers Ruby 1.9.1 and it's the version I use the more.
